Welcome

One day a little boy came home from school and told me he was girl-trapped. Intrigued I inquired and he explained that he sits between two girls at school. Since then I have happily considered myself boy-trapped.

You are Boy-Trapped if:
  • You have little plastic army guys guarding your fireplace.
  •  Your decorative pillows are more often part of a fort than ambiance.
  • There is always a little voice on the other side of the bathroom door.
  •  Every time you settle down to read your Bible there is a boy in your lap.
  • You can walk across the carpet with impaling your feet on legos
  • Every surface in your house is covered in lego fortresses
This blog is really for any mom, not just those who can relate to my testosterone filled home.  It is a place to celebrate the little things that are really very big.  It is a place to explore faith, family and ministry and how they all weave together.

Ruth Haley Barton, author of Strengthening The Soul of Your Leadership, has a wonderful quote that greatly encourages my heart.  She says to minister out of "the age and stage of your family."  After 20 years of ministry, I've experienced many different stages of life. This season of life with boys is a ministry in itself and is something that God is continually reminding me.

Please grab a cup of coffee and commiserate with me. Comments, hints, advice are all welcome! We are in this crazy season together. If you like what you read please I'd be honored if you share it with your friends.  Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,

Sherry Graf
