Pools, Peacocks and Lots of Monkeys
Last week we took a quick overnight trip to Omaha. There are these wonderful hotels that let full-time missionaries and pastors stay one night for free. The boys loved swimming in the pool...it was bit too loud in there for Thing 3 though, he cried every time we went in so we hung out with the cable tv instead. :) The Zoo was incredible, a ton of great indoor and outdoor exhibits. I highly recommend it if you are going to be in the area. Some highlights were throwing rocks in the little stream (Thing 1 and 2), nursing Thing 3 in the Dairy Barn (it just seemed like the most appropriate place), chasing, err, feeding the birds, watching a peacock woo his peahen. :) A good and exhausting time was had by all on our first two stroller event. It is definitely a different experience doing zone defense vs man on man.

Is having 3 kids much more difficult than 2? I've heard the transition from 2 to 3 is the hardest.

What is the hotel??? How does it work? We'll be driving that way on our way to Colorado this summer. It might save us a few bucks! Karen :)
